How I Got Here

I've been the person making the hard "no" decisions for over a decade. As a co-founder and CTO across three startups (with one successful exit), I constantly had to choose which features not to build due to limited resources. Features that would have increased revenue and customer satisfaction but required more engineering capacity than we had.

The breakthrough came when I realized AI doesn't just add features; it fundamentally changes what's economically viable for small teams to build.

I took one company from solo developer to 30-person team with 1M+ downloads and 4.8 app store rating. The secret wasn't throwing more people at problems, it was building small, fast-moving teams with clear ownership and hybrid technical approaches that maximized iteration speed.

That experience taught me something most CTOs learn the hard way: scaling teams quickly without clear roles and responsibilities creates chaos. I learned to structure rapid growth around ownership clarity, not headcount.
